Marija Majda Perišić was born in Split, Croatia, in 1991. She enrolled in the study of mathematics at the Faculty of Science - Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb (UNIZAG-PMF-MO) in 2009. She graduated in 2014 with the specialisation in Applied Mathematics with the master thesis entitled "Bessel sequences and frames". Since 2015., she is employed at the Chair of Design and Product Development at UNIZAG-FSB as a research assistant on MInMED project.
In 2015. she enrolled in Postgraduate doctoral study at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb.
Her primary field of research and scientific focus is agent-based simulation of information processing and interactions in teams developing technical systems.
Since 2016, she actively participates in the organization of the DESIGN conference, a biennial event that regularly attracts more than 250 experts from more than 30 countries around the world.
