Izrada interaktivnih 3D modela proizvoda za primjenu u virtualnoj stvarnosti

Summary:

This presented work explores the concept of virtual reality (VR) with an emphasis on the interactivity between the model, the user and the environment as a key element of the user experience. After reviewing the relevant technologies and their applications, the methodology for creating interactive virtual environment is described. The methodology is described in a way that enables potential users to gain deeper understanding of VR systems and their capabilities for creating interactive virtual environments. Hence, a detailed process of creating a virtual environment is described in order to minimize problems that are often encountered when creating an interactive experience. Through four practical examples, the possibilities of creating interactivity in VR while using a software tool SimLab VR Studio are shown. For each example a detailed description is provided that guides the user through the steps of creation, thus ensuring a clear understanding and proper use of tools. Firstly, an example of room customization is presented, where the user chooses the appearance and arrangement of elements according to their own preferences. Then, various virtual effects are shown that create realistic perception of the virtual environment, whereby the combination of several effects enables the creation of an impressive virtual experience. The next example shows the process of disassembling and assembling of a mixer, where the user goes through different stages of disassembling the device, while using tools within VR, and gets an insight into its internal structure and working principles. At the end, simulations of the operation of the reducer and welding of the autonomous robotic arm were made, which are used to analyze and review the correctness of the model. The presented work provides an insight into contemporary VR technologies and the potential of VR in the context of design, user education and application in different stages of product development, while emphasizing the importance of interactivity in creating a convincing virtual experience.
