The continuous advancement in medical aid technology creates opportunities for innovation; however, the market is still not sufficiently saturated with high-quality solutions that address multiple user needs. This paper addresses the issue of developing modules for the electrification of wheelchairs, with the aim of providing better support to individuals with disabilities and those in need. A detailed market analysis was conducted, with a focus on identifying specific consumer requirements and desires. Existing products were systematically classified into various subgroups to enable a more detailed analysis of their characteristics. Patents related to relevant products were examined to gain a better understanding of current solutions and opportunities for further development. Based on the collected data, conceptual solutions that meet market demands were developed, followed by an evaluation of each solution according to key specifications. Among the developed concepts, the most promising one was selected for further elaboration. During the development process, emphasis was placed on the simplicity of use, installation, and de-installation of the product. Computer 3D models of all components of the chosen solution were created, along with the corresponding technical documentation. All models and technical data were supported by calculations and technical descriptions to ensure the reliability and functionality of the product. From a technical perspective, special attention was given to compliance with relevant norms and standards that regulate the development of such products, with the goal of ensuring product quality and user safety.
