Our PhD students Nikola Horvat and Fanika Lukačević participated in the EIT Health Innovation Days competition as part of the health innovation development program of the Center for Research, Development, and Technology Transfer of the University of Zagreb.
After winning the golden award at the EIT Health Innovation Days Zagreb, organised by the University of Zagreb as the EIT Health Hub for Croatia, their interdisciplinary team ShiftIT won an excellent fifth place at the EIT Health i-Day Winner's Event 2020 in the competition of 31 teams from 22 European Union countries. They also presented their idea for a fitness app based on artificial intelligence at the EIT Health Innovation Days demo day.
