The MISSION4WATER project, funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA ADRION programme, officially began with a two-day kick-off event held in Milan, Italy, on November 4-5. Representatives from nine partner organizations across the ADRION region gathered to outline and coordinate the initial activities and timelines essential for achieving the project's objectives.
The first day focused on defining the project's scope, key objectives, and reporting and communication protocols. Participants engaged in knowledge-sharing sessions to discuss the latest advancements and research related to MISSION4WATER, enhancing the foundational understanding across the partnership.
On the second day, attendees took part in a study visit to ROLD Academy and R-Lab, located in the MIND District, where participants observed innovative practices aligned with the project’s goals. Knowledge-sharing continued, followed by collaborative workshops where partners began implementing the project’s initial activities.
The event concluded with the development of action plans for the first project cycle and a roadmap for activities in the upcoming semester.
This gathering marked a strong start for MISSION4WATER, laying the groundwork for effective collaboration in addressing water-related challenges across the ADRION region.
