Presented bachelor’s thesis integrates the entire process of researching, developing and design of the device for cutting grass and smaller branch. This work is analyzing patents and already existing products on the market and making their evaluation. With the function structure, the main problem was divided into subfunctions that are assigned with possible solutions principle in the morphological matrix. With combination of solutions, two concepts were evaluated. For the chosen concept, calculation and selection of standard parts have been made, 3D models are created and, ultimately, documentation.
