This thesis handles the process of designing a concrete mixer with automated loading. The paper begins by exploring different methods of utilizing and preparing concrete, highlighting the advantages of using an automated mixer. A market analysis is conducted to gain insight into the current state of the art in the field of concrete preparation. Based on this analysis, the functional decomposition and morphological matrix of the mixer are developed. Using the morphological matrix, various concepts are generated, compared, and evaluated. The highest-rated concept is then further developed in more detail. This includes the calculation of the strength of all necessary parts of the mixer and the creation of a 3D model with associated technical documentation. The 3D model is generated using the Solidworks software package, while the strength calculations are performed with the help of analytical formulas sourced from the cited literature.
