Summary:

The goal of this paper is to design and construct a robot for package manipulation in a warehouse. The first part of the paper briefly describes the storage process in traditional and modern warehouses. The fundamental characteristics of using robotic technologies in smart warehouses are analyzed. Following this, a market and patent analysis was conducted, providing detailed insights into the functioning of robotic systems within warehouses. To enhance creativity and ensure all device functions are covered, a functional decomposition of the product was generated, breaking down the complex product into simpler subsystems. Based on the functional decomposition, a morphological matrix was created, offering partial solutions for the mentioned subsystems. Subsequently, subsystem concepts were generated, with selected concepts proceeding to further design process. During the design phase, calculations for non-standard parts were performed, and pre-designed construction solutions were selected. Based on this, 3D CAD models and technical documentation were created.
