The topic of this paper is to construct a machine for wrapping waste bales into a compact form with the aim of protecting them from weather conditions during storage and transport, as well as to reduce the spread of unpleasant odors. In the introductory part, a market analysis, functional decomposition, and morphological matrix were conducted, based on which I developed three concepts. The best-evaluated concept was selected, and component calculations were made. The complete wrapping line consists of a lifting conveyor belt, a wrapper around the vertical axis, a fixed conveyor belt, a wrapper around the horizontal axis, and a film switch for the horizontal and vertical axes. At the end of the paper is technical documentation where the calculated construction is presented. The models and technical documentation were created using the Solidworks software package.
