In this paper, the development of a badminton shuttlecock launcher used to assist in training is presented. The introductory section explains the basic features and the operating principles of the device. A market and patent analysis is then conducted to review existing ideas, designs, and functionalities of similar devices. Following the analysis, several concepts were created, compared, and the best concept was selected for detailed development. The selected concept was first dimensioned, calculations were performed, and it was later developed into a 3D model using SolidWorks 2020 software.
