The project goal is to analyse and redesign client’s prefabricated bathroom pods, with particular focus on modular product architecture, and propose design and configuration workflows which can be integrated within the overall digitalisation framework. The project is structured to follow a four-step plan including market analysis, workflow modelling, product architecture analysis, and product modularisation. These steps will involve analysing data about the prefabricated bathroom market to specify project objectives, creating workflows for the configuration and production of prefabricated bathroom pods, exploration of design solutions to identify potential areas for improvement and modularisation, and proposal of modular units, their interfaces, and procedures for prefabricated bathroom configuration.
