Zvonko Herold is retired since Spetember 2019. Before that he was a full professor at Chair of Mechanical Handling Equipment and Constructions of Department of Engines and Transport Machinery FSB.
He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia in 1979, 1986, and 1998, respectively. His scientific and professional interests are versatile and include design theory, developing design knowledge base, development of novel mechanical designs and products, and research of mechanical handing equipment and constructions. He actively collaborates on several interdisciplinary international projects related to the development of automotive mechatronic systems.
