The topic of this final thesis is to design and construct an electric stairclimbing cart. The main goal of the device is to facilitate the transport of heavy and bulky loads, not only on flat surfaces but also on stairs. The cart must be designed according to ergonomic principles to ease the handling of both the load and the cart during stair navigation while ensuring user safety during this demanding task. The device must be powered by an electric motor and equipped with a battery to maintain autonomy. The project begins with a market analysis, followed by defining the functional structure and developing a morphological matrix, which serves as the basis for concept development. The optimal concept was selected for further refinement, including calculations of critical components and the creation of a 3D CAD model. Finally, the technical documentation for the device was also prepared.
