This bachelor thesis shows to design and development of a tractor powered bandsaw. Initially, an analysis of existing devices and patents was conducted. Following that, a functional decomposition was created to clarify the interrelationships of product functions. Partial design assignments were assigned to the main functions identified in the functional decomposition, and concepts were generated accordingly. Three concepts were generated and evaluated based on selected criteria. The chosen concept underwent detailed design development, including critical point calculations, the creation of a 3D model and the preparation of technical documentation.
